I am a week and a half away from my second COVID vaccine. I knew that the vaccine would change my life. I knew it. But, I didn't really let myself think about it. I will not only be able to go to church on Easter Sunday if everything goes as planned, but I can meet with friends again, especially the ones already vaccinated. I will be able to shop again without weighing whether it is worth dying for the thing I am buying. I will be able to visit my sister.
I had a few side effects from the first vaccine. I had a mild headache and I was tired. I expect the second one to be worse, but as far as I am concerned it is worth it. Totally worth it.
Life is opening up again. Life will resume. I hope the pause will make me stronger, better.
