So, the weather last week was beautiful. I took the grandchildren out to play in the backyard several times. They love it. They would live outdoors if they could. The 11 month old drags her coat over to me when I arrive as if to say, let's get outside.
The problem with that is she is large for her age and not yet walking. It will happen soon. Really soon. Not soon enough for me. Carrying her around the hilly backyard last week has done a number on my right hip. Ouch!
I have suspended walks for the imaginary dog to try to let my hip return to normal. It is working a little. But I felt despair for this week, until I watched the weather prediction for the week--Rain! We won't be able to play in the backyard if there is rain. I felt as though God knew exactly what my old hip needs.
