Last Wednesday it snowed! In these parts we have had a very un-snowy winter so far. Our approximately 2 and a half inch snow last week was more than twice the total snowfall already this winter. It was beautiful, that snow and it melted quickly. Although it came at morning rush hour, it was done well before evening rush. I was safely home and shoveling my own snow before dark. I even shoveled the sidewalk because I do like to walk the imaginary dog.
So, January was a bust as far as snow and even ice. It has been a mild winter here. But, from past experience I know--look out! February and March can send the snows and the cold. The good thing about late snows is, they can't last as long. It will be April, May, June before we know it.
