Summer blew in last week. It is now typical Midwestern summer weather. Hot and humid with occasional rain, but not enough to keep the sprinklers from being used. The air conditioning runs and runs and runs. Thank God for the air conditioning.
I still have a squirrel problem. Squirrels in the soffit. I hear them. I need to figure out who to call. I hear Ghost Busters aren't available. I am having some motivational issues in walking the imaginary dog. Poor thing doesn't get out as much as I would like. I am still daycare for my grandchildren and it looks like that will continue for the summer. Life goes on and there are still cares and concerns.
The cycle of life is that there will always be problems. There will always be things to dread and things to work on and things to solve. These things change from time to time. It keeps life interesting. I am trying to learn to enjoy the ride and not anticipate tomorrow so much. Enjoy the present. Don't worry, be happy, as the song says.
