Less Words Wednesday--Blooming
The Christmas cactus on the top left has decided to bloom. Now. The African violets are making an effort also. Bloom where you are planted. And when, even if not at Christmas as expected.
My Christmas cactus was late also this year. My brother who is the king of getting them to bloom and with lots of flowers says that fish emoltion is the key. I lost my only african violet when we were gone over Christmas and our furnace went out and it got down to 40 degrees in the house. I looked at Walmart but they had none for now, oh yea thats where my brother buys the fish stuff. I forgot to look while I was looking for a violet.

You are probably right, I haven't fertilized in a long time. I will have to look into the fish stuff.
