Grandma Nose

I am not sure why, but my grandson identifies me by touching his nose.  When I pull up in the morning his parents know that I have arrived because my grandson runs to them and touches his nose.  When I am walking up to the door, he touches his nose.  Several times during the day he looks at me a touches his nose.  Well, maybe less these days since he is talking more.  Now he says "Amma."

Truly, if I got to pick I would make Amma my grandma name, but my son and daughter in law have proclaimed that all the many grandmas (and faux grandmas) be called "grandma and their first name." But, you choose your battles and this is one I choose not to fight.  But, it doesn't mean that I am happy about it.  I choose not to fight.

But, I have puzzled over Grandma Nose.  I am not sure how I picked up that name.  Nobody "Nose".
