My grandson loves small electronic devices. He likes my remotes, my garage door opener, my phone and phone substitutes. He uses calculators and timers as those. I try to keep the good electronics up and let him play with the broken ones.
Lately, I have had a time problem. My good timer had the battery go bad. I am looking for the right sized button battery but haven't found one yet. I forget to look sometimes or I would probably have found it. So I purchased some other timers that I don't like nearly as much. My grandson loves to get his hands on those things.
There is one that I don't use because it seems too complicated to remember the directions and be sure that it is set right. That is the timer my grandson loves because it makes a satisfying beep. He was playing with it the last time he was at my house. He complained at one point that he lost his phone. I didn't pay too much attention to that. We went on and played with other things.
I wish that I had paid more attention to the missing phone. At 3:30 am that night the timer went off like an evil imp. I could hear it but I had trouble finding it. It was under some things by the front door. I smashed the buttons and mashed the buttons and it finally quit. I just hoped that it wouldn't wake up late and give me the beep beep again.
So, this timer I need to put up high before my grandson comes over again. This timer is evil. It does the business of the devil. It wakes me from a sound sleep.
