As I have mentioned, I often have my grandson at my house on Saturdays. It is fun because I can just be Grandma and not babysitter. We play. We take a walk. He digs in my backyard. He likes to fill my birdbath and water the flowers. We love spending time together.
Because of potty learning and busy-ness on my part, I haven't had my grandson over as much this past month. When we were finally getting together, my grandson informed his mother that we would be having chicken and pancakes for lunch. It was news to me. But, it was easy, so we had that for lunch. The next time he came over, he informed his mother we would be having chicken and pancakes for lunch, so we did again. Now I think it is the regular thing. That is my grandma menu, chicken and pancakes. Not terribly nutritious, but delicious. I have become the chicken and pancake grandma.
