Alabama, Part 2

Michael row the boat ashore....

When I look at the Tennessee River in northern Alabama all kinds of boat images come to mind.  The Tennessee River provides recreation, electric power, transportation, and who knows what else.  It was made through dams that cut through the river and turn it into lakes.
The last time we were through they had had a long dry spell and the river did not look like the grand thing it did this time.

It was a vast waterway. It is a wetland and wildlife preserve.

As we left, the tugboat way out in the distance gave the river some perspective.

I wouldn't want to row the boat ashore on this river.

That is one huge river! And it looks just beautiful with the sun reflecting off of the water.
