Dear Library Anne,
A year and a half ago isn't a long look back. It seems like just yesterday. Here you are a librarian at the state conference. You drove yourself out to the Lake of the Ozarks, you stayed in a hotel room by yourself, you were in short, a real grown up on a business trip.
From this you learned that you could do things that you weren't sure you could. You had fun on your own. You made friends with some strangers you met. (Yes, you talked to strangers.)
But, girlfriend, if I could give you one solid piece of advice--get that purse off your shoulder. It would pay off in the future if you would listen to this. Think about that. And stretching is good. Stretch those tendons.
Your future self
