Cleaning Diaries

There is a book--It Came From Under the Sink. I thought I might try that.
Under my bathroom sink I have a lot of things.  Too many things.

Too much stuff crammed under here.

And I photographed the rest of this and tried to write about it and I can't. I cleaned under the sink.  And now I am finished with the Cleaning Diaries.  This had to be the worst idea in blogging ever.

Note to Self--Unless You are Fly Lady, don't blog about cleaning.

I love you Mary-really I do. But I can't tell which is the after. :P This would fall more into the archeology category than mere cleaning...the front layers are the most recent and the further back you go you can see what hair-products were used in that bathroom years ago...

if you were fly-lady I would not be here. I was going to say there are things in life more important than a perfect cabinet--but I think I'll just say LIFE is to be LIVED (and perhaps archived for future generations under the bathroom sink)

D'Mom, I didn't show the after. I was having trouble loading the pictures and I gave up. It just wasn't worth the trouble. These are the before pictures. I have dispensed with many things. LOL. Cleaning Diaries is one of them. And the way pictures are loading on this template is frustrating me beyond words.

I thought it was a before and after as well. :)

Dandelionmom,
That is so true about the bathroom sink being an archive. Each time we move Mr. Nomad will ask, "Do you really need all of these bottles?"
"YES!" I reply.
But in all honesty, if I cannot remember when I bought the stuff, it probably isn't good anymore anyway. However, thanks to you, I'm just going on the fact I am recording my personal hair history under that sink.

I used to have to toss it all every 3 or 4 years in the Navy moves because we moved overseas every time. It was forced cleaning. Now I average about every ten years for a move and I have to institute a mid term cleaning schedule. Obviously.

And I guess I will have to post those "after" pictures at some point just to prove I cleaned.

LOL Glad to hear it Mary! I say ditch this template if it's depriving me of photos...that would be a VERY effective clean-up!

ROFL! Too true. They say blog about your passion. Is cleaning your passion, Mary? ;)

I'm not sure my comments are sticking. Do you have moderation on? Because I left a comment just before this one on a different post and it didn't show up...

Have a nice weekend!

no comment moderation. Don't know what happened to your comment, Dawn. The thing was, blogging is my passion, writing and taking pictures, and if I blogged about something I hated to do, then maybe I would do it with more gusto. And it sort of worked because I cleaned, but I wasn't able to put it into a blog post that was interesting, organized, or complete. I left the half hearted effort up because I knew that you kiddos would have a thing or two to say about it. And reading your blog comments is the most fun anyway.
