I bought a pumpkin at the grocery store. It remains to be seen whether I will leave it as is or carve it.
Some how this year the red trees are dancing among the green. Some years the yellow pops out first but not this year.
The sweet gum across the street usually makes a better showing than this.
This year it is the red trees that are getting the attention. I am afraid their leaves will be gone by the time the oranges and yellows begin.
The wine and burgundy trees are more subtle, but beautiful in their variation on the theme of fall. Glorious fall. A gift to behold!
