Thankful Thursday

I am joining Rebecca in Thankful Thursday today.

Today I am thankful for the abilities God gave me.

1. I am thankful that I have hands that I can use them to type and write and do dishes.  Hands give me the ability to work.  Thank You, Lord, for my hands.

2. I am thankful for the ability to read well.  I sometimes take it for granted that I can read and understand.  But, not everyone was given that gift.  Reading has enabled me to meet God in the Holy Scriptures and read all manner of books.  Reading takes me places and helps me understand. Praise You, God, for reading and writing!

3. I am thankful for the hope that God put into my heart, the faith I have.  I am thankful for the love that I know because of God's love. Oh, Holy Spirit, fill me up with love and hope.
