Recap of the Weekend (And Winter's End, if you ask me)

Oh, the weekend went too fast.  How could it be over?  Next week begins 13 weeks of teaming for an ACTS retreat.  I am one of the Faith Formation Leaders so I will be one busy girl. I may head up to Quincy next weekend because Hannah turns 7 and my March weekends are going to get very busy. It probably doesn't get much more boring than talking about how busy you are going to be.

Friday we went to a fish fry at a neighboring parish.  It was really good.  I bought some chances on quilting things and the lady selling the chances was a quilter.  She told me that they have baby quilts that they sell for the church finances.  I was thinking....if I don't get this one done.....nope.

Saturday involved running here and there and doing various things.  I made a very interesting soup that I will probably not make again for dinner.  Turkey sausage, fresh cubed veggies, chicken stock and spices.  It was some spicy soup. I walked in the evening.

Sunday we went to 9 am Mass.  Then we went to the Mall for lunch. We did a little looking at the yard and look what we found--

Signs of spring.

This evening I will be working on planning the formation for the retreat team.  Our retreat is on Corpus Christi weekend. That lends itself to so many ideas.
