Believing Myths

I have been thinking lately that the state of science education in this country is woefully inadequate.  It seems as though people believe myth rather than scientific fact if it suits them.  The legal system seems to uphold the myths and I think there needs to be re-education.

Apparently the myth is that when a woman becomes pregnant, we don't know what might be in there.  Perhaps it is a fish or a turtle.  Or maybe it changes from a fish to a turtle or snake or something not protected by laws.  Nothing as important as a polar bear or wolf, because we can't kill those animals.  The myth is that when a woman gets pregnant that it is not a baby in there, not a human baby, not a person, not a life.

Since this myth exists, rather than the scientific fact that it is a baby in that woman's womb, we permit her to kill the baby.  If it were a live screaming baby that we all could see for sure was a human baby, we wouldn't allow that. If it were a kitten or puppy, she couldn't do it either, but maybe a snake or a fish or a frog or something. So, believing that it is not a baby, she kills it, only she calls it abortion or choice.  Nobody in the abortion industry encourages anyone to call the life she ended, they ended, a baby, a life.

Education, that is what is needed, education on the development of fetuses.  Surely, if a mother knew that someone wanted to kill her baby, she wouldn't allow it.  The right to life.....one of the most basic of rights.....
